Mipham Code Now Live Everywhere — npm · GitHub · JetBrains · VS Code

Mipham Code is now available across every major distribution channel:

  • npm — @miphamai/cli, one-command install;
  • GitHub Releases — native binaries for macOS / Windows / Linux, plus a macOS .dmg;
  • JetBrains Marketplace — the Mipham Code plugin for IntelliJ-based IDEs;
  • Visual Studio Marketplace — the Mipham Code extension for VS Code;
  • CLI — curl / PowerShell one-liners for macOS / Linux / Windows.

Mipham Code is an open-core (Apache 2.0) multi-model coding terminal — one unified interface across Anthropic, OpenAI, DeepSeek, Qwen, and more, with an extensible skills system, MCP protocol support, and a hardened permission model.

Everything Is a Plugin — But Beyond Plugins, Self-Improvement

One Mipham Corporation today announces Mipham Code v0.39.1, and with it a clear product position: Mipham Code is not just a coding agent.

At its core, Mipham Code runs on a self-built kernel — Vajra-Hṛdaya ("Diamond Heart") — built on four primitives: Context, Effect, dispatch, and a Service state machine. New capabilities are mounted, never hardcoded — which is exactly what turns "everything is a plugin" from a slogan into engineering reality.

Five pillars form a complete agent ecosystem:

  • Agents — sub-agents, background agents, and a message bus orchestrate a team from a single terminal;
  • Hooks — 13 lifecycle events let you intervene safely at any stage;
  • Plugins — an MCP client and Tool Search bring external capabilities in like plug-ins;
  • Skills — a dual-track runtime ships 23 built-in skills and scales without limit;
  • Self-improvement — CRSI, below.

The real dividing line between Mipham Code and every other coding agent is CRSI — Continuous Recursive Self-Improvement — One Mipham's branded expression of recursive self-improvement, the ultimate proposition of AI. Three engineered subsystems are already in place:
